As a college professor teaching in Southern California for more than 30 years, Dawn was moved by the struggles of her students to find ways to support them. Beginning with getting a second masters in TESOL ((Teaching English to Students of Other Languages) to address language issues, the road has led to the complicated maze of immigration law and volunteering at New Voice with a desire to help meet the growing needs of the immigrant community in Southern California. Dawn received her partial Accreditation by the Department of Justice on October 2020 and is excited for what lies ahead.
